An Example of Justice System

A lawyer spent his entire life practicing law, and when he retired at an older age, he handed over all his cases to his son, who had also become a renowned lawyer.

Few months later, the son showed a file of a case to his father and said, "You fought all your life, but couldn't win this case. I won it within six months." The father, looked with a dismissive glance at the file, and got busy with his work again.

The son became quite upset and said, "If you can't acknowledge your failure, at least you can congratulate me on my success."

The father raised his head, looked at his son, and said, "You are a fool. I taught and trained all your siblings through this case. I gave you this case for the sake of your children's future. But since you have chosen to cut off your own source of income, tell me, what should I call you if not a fool?"

ایک وکیل صاحب نے ساری عمر وکالت کی اور جب بڑی عمر کے پیش نظر وکالت سے دستبرداری اختیار کی تو اپنے سارے مقدمات اپنے بیٹے کو دیئے جو کہ اب خود بھی ایک نامور وکیل بن چکا تھا۔ چند ماہ بعد بیٹے نے ایک مقدمے کی فائل والد کے سامنے پیش کی اور کہا کہ آپ ساری عمر یہ مقدمہ لڑتے رہے مگر مقدمہ نہ جیت سکے اور میں نے چھ ماہ میں ہی یہ مقدمہ جیت لیا۔ والد نے ایک اچٹتی ہوئی نظر فائل پر ڈالی اور دوبارہ اپنے کام میں مصروف ہوگئے۔ بیٹے کو بہت غصہ آیا تو اس نے کہا اگر آپ اپنی ناکامی کا اعتراف نہیں کر سکتے تو کم از کم مجھے میری کامیابی پر مبارکباد تو دے ہی سکتے ہے۔ والد نے سر اٹھا کر بیٹے کی طرف دیکھا اور کہا "تم بیوقوف ہو"۔ تم سب بھائی بہنوں کو میں نے اس مقدمے سے پڑھایا لکھایا اور میں نے یہ مقدمہ تمھیں تمھارے بچوں کیلئے دیا تھا اور تم نے خود ہی اپنی آمدنی کا ذریعہ بند کردیا تو بتاؤ میں تمھیں بیوقوف نہ کہوں تو پھر کیا کہوں
