Four taxi drivers; one is Christian and three Muslims.
1) The Christian drivers tells his story that he bought taxi plate when its price was $400K. Now almost $40K or less. He has to drive 20 hours sometimes to meet his expenses.
I'm here in Canada last 23 years. We, the friends, talk together, that we as Muslims cannot make good progress and interaction with this new culture because doing drink and involve other activities which are norm of this society. Here, my observation is that this culture is based on work, hard work and about your contribution to the society. Not based on, what we think and talk about.
2) Owns multiple properties, those are paid off. He has nothing to do. He has free time and to consume his time, he drives taxi.
3) Purchased a property when it was high season, low interest rates. Now if he sells, the outcome doesn't even cover the price and selling expenses. He has no choice but to drive taxi.
4) This gentle sold his house and purchased a taxi plate when its price was high. When taxi plate lost its price, he lost both, the property and taxi plate value. Now, he has no choice but to drive taxi.
Today I'll discuss scenario # 2. How, we, the human beings, forget our course of action. He told me, how he was struggling with all of his family members back in time. But now he thinks in his own way that he is comparatively much relaxed. Although, he is driving taxi same as other three are doing.
Keeping busy is very important and is practical approach.
